About My Personal Life

I am a Christian and an active member and Deacon of Antioch Community Church in Kansas City, MO. I am married to a beautiful woman, Devyn, and I am the father of a handsome boy, Elijah, and beautiful daughter, Ruthie. I am an Eagle Scout and a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.

In my spare time I like to work on old cars and play with my son. I am currently working on two degree's from Park University; BS, Management/Computer Information Systems and BS, Computer Based Information Systems.

About My Professional Life

I have been in the computer industry since 1995. I joined the Navy in 2000 and served as an Electronics Technician. I moved to San Diego, CA after being discharged from the Navy and worked for Lockheed Martin on a contract with the Navy. I basically did the same thing I did while I was in the Navy but for a lot more money. I decided the west coast wasn't for me and I moved back to my hometown of Richmond, MO.

In the past 7 years I have worked for an Apple repair center, two law firms, a health & pension benefit provider, a major web hosting company, an architecture firm, the USDA, a prescription benefit claims processor and my current employer is Schwab Performance Technologies where I am a Senior Systems Engineer.

I am the owner/operator of i7MEDIA, a web hosting and design company. Hopefully one day I will not have to work for anyone else. :-) I work heavily with mojoPortal in my everday business with i7MEDIA. mojoPortal is a very easy to use and scalable CMS written in .NET (C#) and it is has been designed from the ground up to work with Mono as well as Microsoft's .NET platform.

I hold the MCSE/MCSA credentials for Windows 2000 and 2003 and MCITP: Enterprise Administrator credential for Windows 2008. I work on everything Microsoft but focus on web technologies. My work over the past year has been primarily with SharePoint and the varied technologies that go along with it.
